Meetings Have Started, Volunteers Needed

Kent School District students, staff, family members are all welcome to join the Citizens for Kent Schools Committee!

Our first meeting on November 2, 2019 was a huge success thanks to long time advocate and KSD parent Brooke Valentine who coordinate the early morning meeting at the Golden Steer restaurant.

The diverse group of teachers, KSD staff, board members, community members and parents, including Superintendent Dr. Calvin J. Watts, were energized by the positive and innovative thinking to support the levy resolution approved by the school board in October for the February 11, 2020 ballot.

The Kent School District has already post a wealth of information on the district and school websites, shared information with families and scheduling informational meetings.

The Citizens for Kent Schools committee is seeking volunteers for everything from fundraising to helping with voter registration drives. Just complete our Volunteer form and let us know how you are interested in helping.

Our next meeting is Saturday, November 9 at 7:30 am at Golden Steer, join us if you are interested in helping us ensure the KSD 2020 Renewal Educational Program & Operations passes!
